Slide Mount Class Part 9

Ready for more?!!

This time I covered a white cardboard slide mount with Leap Frog Bazzill cardstock from the green mono collection.

I wanted, again, to highlight this wonderfully textured cardstock (I am totally addicted to Bazzill cardstock... can you tell?!) So after you cover the slide mount with the cardstock, simply rub the White Memories dye ink pad over the edges of the slide mount.

Looks cool huh?
I wanted to keep with the green and white theme, with that wonderful subtle, soft look, so I again used our Memories white dye ink pad and the lined flower from the "Flower Power" stamp set as a background.
I finished off the card with a torn border of Chatterbox pattern paper "Spruce Gerberas", with black gingham ribbon edging the left side of the pattern paper.  The saying "happy anniversary" from the "Framed Sentiments" stamp set was stamped along the left edge and then on the bottom right of the card.  Three black matt finish brads are attached above that.

The slide mount was finished off by gluing Ivy Bazzill cardstock behind the slide mount, and gluing one of our white paper flowers (from Jolee's by You) inside the mount.  Then, using my paper piercer (that thing is sharpie!) I poked holes at the top of the slide mount and knotted ribbon through the holes leaving tails on the front.  The finished slide mount is then attached to the card with a brad at the top, and pop dots.
