Flip Flap Card Tutorial by Melissa Baldwin, owner of The
Stamping Studio.

This simplistic card design consists of folded cardstock
overlapping each other. I will walk you through all the
steps to create the pictured design. When we are done you
can put your own "stamp" on this template and make your own
"Flip Flap" card designs.

Let's go!.....

Gather together several designs of pattern cardstock or
solid colored cardstock. I am using BasicGrey Oh Baby! Girl
collection in my sample.

Cut the base of your card 5.5x4.25 (like a card front... no
fold over) and then another piece 5x3.75 inches

This piece of cardstock is 5" wide by about 3.5 inches and
you just need to score up 1".
Stamp your selected image arcross the top of your cardstock
as shown. I used this image from the Branch Collage set.
Other images that work well are Swirly Scrolls and Curlys.

Tim along this stamped image to give it some dimension and
interest. (in other words so it looks cool!)

Glue your folded stamped piece to your 5x3.75" piece of
cardstock as shown.
Looks good hugh?!

Do any additional stamping that you would like to do and
then glue all your layers to the base card.
Now make a mini top fold card. Unfolded this one measures
5.5x2.25. I used the Baby Blessings set and the Stitches
set.

Glue this layer to the top right side of the card so that
the flaps overlap as shown. You can move this mini card
where ever you want when you create you own card... center
it or move it to the left.
I always like to add a ribbon and at least one embellishment
to my cards... so here ya go the finished card.
