For as long as I can remember, I have loved to design and draw. In high
school, I created my own Christmas cards for friends and while in
college, I began pursuing freelance art opportunities ranging from selling
handmade cards at a local mall, making and selling primitive-style dolls and
designing craft projects for books and magazines.
While in college, I took several media/writing and design courses.
After
graduating with an interior design degree, I began working full-time as a
technical editor at a local publishing company, combining my love of
writing and design. One of the magazines I get to work on is CardMaker, a
magazine specializing in handmade cards!
On the side, I continue to pursue freelance ventures, such as designing
for rubber stamp companies. I am so excited to have this opportunity to
work with Melissa and create fun designs for The Stamping Studio! I am
grateful to God for allowing me the opportunities to use the gifts He has
given me!

Rita Ann Plummer

My name is Rita Ann Plummer, and I was born & raised in Cutler Bay, Florida (formerly Cutler Ridge) outside of Miami. I am married to my favorite husband Tom for six years now, and I have one daughter named Melissa who is four years old. She is my princess. I also have two silly dogs named Candy and Max.
My inspiration is my little girl Melissa, she is in my muse and I feed on her energy. I stay home so I can spend time with Melissa, and I have lot of time to do my artwork when she goes to school. My husband loves my work and supports me in all of my projects.
This is great opportunity for me to join The Stamping Studio. I love drawing freehand, doodling and doing graphic drawings in the computer. I always enjoyed drawing and am flattered that I have been chosen to be part of The Stamping Studio. I have ideas in my mind that I would love to see in some future stamps.
I want to thank Melissa of The Stamping Studio for having faith in me and I am looking forward to being a contributing member of The Stamping Studio.

As a self-taught artist, I have spent many years concentrating on developing my illustration skills. My love for children and animals led me to develop the creation of "Huggles" TM. These whimsical characters and lovable furry critters surround me in my home studio on the west coast of Florida. With my husband, Bob, my teenage son, Mikey, a gorgeous Black Lab mix, Keaira, an overly energetic Australian Shepherd mix, Nikki, and two very lazy, chubby cats, Snowhite and Jasmine, I am never at a loss for inspiration.
I am always thinking of new ways to incorporate my illustrations with the latest techniques and color trends. I discovered Rubber Stamping less than two years ago and have loved it ever since. The Lord has blessed me with an amazing amount of creative energy...so, I never quite sit still! When I’m not drawing or stamping, I am working with polymer clay or quilling. As you can see, everything I do ties into each other.
When my husband and son can actually drag me away from my workshop, taking long walks with "the girls", as I affectionately call my puppies, and volunteering at our church is my other passion. I am currently working on some mural designs for the children’s nurseries in our church and having "Huggles" TM licensed for a variety of gift and stationery markets.
When Melissa approached me to work with her and TSS, I jumped at the opportunity. I ’m looking forward to all the exciting possibilities of designing
stamps.

Jacqueline (Jacki) Jones

Hello, my name is Jacki and I am addicted to cardmaking, scrapbooking, paper crafts, paper, colored pencils, rubberstamps, inks, markers, embellishments... (you get the picture).
I have been making, buying and sending cards for as long as I remember. I started designing my own cards just after high school. I spent a lot of time drawing and coloring each one. I remember the first big Christmas card mailing I did my freshman year in college. I took my black and white drawing to a copy center and made about 20 copies. I then spent a couple of weeks coloring them. I would make cards from my drawings and stationery or construction paper. I love coloring with colored pencils and markers. The Scrapbooking boom provided me with not only inspiration but new tools to make my cards look professional. And then I stumbled into rubber stamping a few years ago, and that totally changed my card making, and my life. It is really a blessing to be able to see my doodles turned into rubberstamps. I hope the designs inspire you to encourage someone with a beautiful card of your own creation.
I have been able to teach classes at a couple of scrapbook and stamp stores including Michaels. I love sharing my joy and excitement for making cards and scrapbooks with others.
When am not papercrafting, I am busy with my five children, husband, and dog. My oldest is entering her senior year in High School and my youngest just finished 1st grade. We have three basketball players, three singers, two cheerleaders, two artists, one golfer, a flutist, a journalist, and several video game enthusiasts. My husband's occupation is the reason we have lived in several states in the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast. We currently live in Michigan.
I also join my husband in music ministry occasionally. He is a dynamic gospel singer. All that we have is because of Jesus Christ and we delight in sharing our God-given talents for His glory.
